Ethan started playing the oboe at the age of 10, after being inspired by a performance of Gabriel's Oboe. Since then, he has practiced diligently and continues to deepen his passion for this instrument. As an oboist in the New Life Youth Orchestra, a mission orchestra dedicated to spreading hope to the underprivileged through musical performance and teaching, he has performed not only locally, but also abroad in countries such as South Korea, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Thailand. Furthermore, after successfully earning a superior score in the Trinity London College Music Exam, he is continuing to prepare for his final music exam this spring for his first college credit in the music and arts.
