Cesia is a music education major at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. In the past she has been a member of the Texas All-State ensembles and she is currently a member of the Master Chorale, Chamber Singers, and Bravo Opera Company ensembles in the university. Some of her past roles include The Sandman in Hansel and Gretel, Pitti-Sing in The Mikado, Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Consuelo in West Side Story.
In the Spring of 2015 Cesia was a finalist in her division at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and in the Fall 2016 she was a finalist for the UTRGV Aria competition.
