Sophia Zervas is a sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she is pursuing a double BM degree in piano and vocal performance, studying with David Korevaar and Abigail Nims. An active competitor, Sophia has placed in many state competitions, including a 1st place finish in the Schmitt Music Piano Competition which led to her orchestral debut in the summer of 2015 with the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra. In January 2016, she represented Colorado in the Senior Piano Division of MTNA. She has performed in master classes for Richard Goode, Natasha Paremski and Aviram Reichert. Last summer, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy as part of the Renaissance in the 21st Century music program.
