Clara Henne is in 11th Grade at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney, Maryland. She has been studying flute under the direction of Dr. Michelle Cho since she was in 5th Grade. Over the years, Clara has been fortunate enough to have participated in several youth orchestras, including Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras at Strathmore. She was also chosen to be a member of the Maryland Music Educators Association All State Senior Band. In January, she was lucky to have had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall as a member of the Honors Performance Series Honors Symphony Orchestra. She is very active in her school's Music Department, and she will be acting as Drum Major for the marching band this fall.
