Serenata Quartet was formed in Spring of 2016 by members Raiden Thaler (viola), Katie Capp (cello), Josefina Guzman (violin), and Rebecca Tozzie (violin). The quartet has performed many concerts around the College of Music at FSU and the city of Tallahassee during their time together, from events on campus such as The Society of Composers concerts to off-campus performances for residents at Westminster Oaks retirement community. Serenata Quartet has studied with a majority of the string faculty at the FSU College of Music, as well as Tomoko Fujita, a founder and member of the Bryant Park Quartet for ten years, during their time at Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar in Weston, Vermont.
