Samuel Li, 8 years old, a third grader at Lakewood Elementary School , from Overland Park, Kansas. Samuel loves and enjoys playing music. When he was four years old, he showed his parents his willingness of learning piano. He started to take piano lessons with Ying-Yu Emily Yeh. After learning piano for one month, he was able to play music by ear and improvise music on the piano. Samuel participated in the National Piano Guild Auditions and received Top-Talent Circle Rating for the past 3 years. He was also awarded the Highest Honor Rating in the Kansas City Music Teachers Association Fall Festival in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Besides music, Samuel likes to play basketball and soccer. He also loves doing community service and performing his music in different places.
