As multiple local competitions’ winner, Rich had the opportunities to solo with Alton Symphony, Bellville Philharmonic Society, and University City Symphony since he was 9. Outside of St Louis region, in 2016, Rich won 2nd place at the Midwest Rising Star Competition for high school string player and the Yangzi Piano and Instrumental competition, was selected the 1st place winner of his age group at the Global Online Great Composer Masters of Violin Concerto Competition and received Honorable Mention at the Walgreen National Concerto Competition in Chicago.
He is a member of the Webster University Prep Program and the St Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. He performs regularly for the seniors at the Barclay House and a volunteer violinist in the Urban Youth Orchestra of the Orchestrating Diversity program. He enjoys sharing his silky violin sound with the audiences.
