Nancy Pei, eleven year old, is attending Prairie Star Middle School in Leawood, KS. Nancy is currently taking piano lessons under Ying-Yu Emily Yeh’s tutelage. Nancy has participated in many competitions and received awards such as Superior Rating from Kansas Music Teachers Association State Honors Auditions in 2014 and 2015, Highest Honors Rating from Kansas City Music Teachers Association Fall Festival in 2016, and Piano Guild Founder’s Plaque from National Piano Guild Auditions in 2016. Nancy is also a violinist and was chosen to play in honors orchestra. Besides music, she also enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and participating in school clubs.
