Shannon Lally is a senior at Haddonfield Memorial High School. She is a member of Tri-M Music Honors Society and has performed with NJ All State Women's Chorus, All State Mixed Chorus, and All South Jersey Chorus. Shannon has performed with the HMHS Drama Club in Grease, Anything Goes, and The Pajama Game as a clarinetist in the pit orchestra, and most recently as Ensemble in 42nd Street. She has been featured in the HMHS Drama Club's student showcase, and has also performed as The Youth in Mendelssohn's Elijah. Shannon has also been a member of local youth chorus ChildrenSong of New Jersey for 11 years. This past summer, she participated in Curtis Institute of Music's Young Artist Voice Program and Westminster Choir College's High School Vocal Institute. She has received many awards for her vocal excellence, including the Boston WorldStrides Heritage Festival’s Maestro Award, given to an exceptional student from each ensemble division in the competition. Shannon was also honored as a finalist in the 2016 NJ All State Opera Festival. Shannon is looking forward to continuing her music education as a Voice Performance major at Westminster Choir College in the fall.
