Sarah Clementine Mire


Sarah-Clementine, full lyric soprano, has been studying voice since the age of nine. She began her love of fine arts as a figure skater and dancer at the age of three. Sarah-Clementine was cast in her first musical production at the age of 10. She was a dancer and ensemble member in Oklahoma!, the debut production of Lubbock Moonlight Musicals. To date, she has performed in over 30 productions with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals including Tuptim in The King and I and Kate McGowen in Titanic: The Musical. Sarah-Clementine's first opera was Amahl and the Night Visitors with the San Antonio Opera in 2006 where she played the title role. Recent opera productions have seen her as Adele in scenes from Die Fledermaus with Opera Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Laetitia in Gian-Carlo Menotti's The Old Maid and the Thief with Texas Tech Opera Theatre. She recently performed the role of Miss Jessel in Benjamin Britten's The Turn of the Screw with Texas Tech Opera Theatre in November 2015. Her most recent musical theatre role was as Aquata in Moonlight Broadway's 2016 production of The Little Mermaid. Upcoming roles will see her as Mabel in Lubbock Moonlight Musicals production of The Pirates of Penzance in July 2016 and Marzelline in Texas Tech Opera Theatre's production of Fidelio in the spring of 2017. Sarah-Clementine made her oratorio debut as soprano soloist in Handel's The Messiah with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and First United Methodist Midland, Texas in December 2015.
