Nerys Apple, 15, was born in Reading, England and has lived in England, Japan, Panama, and the United States. She began performing in musical theater at age 5. She has studied voice, dance, and piano at the Shenandoah Conservatory Academy of the Arts in Winchester, Virginia. Her vocal instructors include Amy Asbury and Kathleen Bell. Nerys recently earned honors at the mid-Atlantic regional competition of the National Association of Teachers of Singing in Charleston, South Carolina. She performs in her high school concert choir and select jazz choir, Route 7. She also performs in community theater musicals and was selected as an alternate in voice for the Virginia Governor's School.
