Eleonora Apostolidi


Born in Preveza,Greece in 1995.She began her first piano lessons with her mother and at the age of 15, she took her Piano Diploma with distinction (class of Prof. Charalampos Agelopoulos). In 2012 she received the ""Diploma in Harmony"" (class of Prof. George Chlitsios).

She has been awarded with several prizes in international and national competitions, such as: American Protege I fee national Competition for Piano and Strings 2016 ( 2nd Prize) AADGT, Passion of Music 2015 in New York (Gold Medal), International Competition of Young Performers (distinction of “Soloist”), 26th National competition of S.A.O.T (1st Prize), Thessaloniki Piano Festival Competition (2nd Prize) and National competition of “Techni” (3rd Prize) .

As a soloist she has performed with the MOYSA, Municipality of Thessaloniki, and the Thessaloniki State Conservatory Orchestra in concertos of J. Haydn, L.v.Beethoven and D. Shostakovich.

She has performed in Greece, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, USA and she has appeared in venues such as, Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall ( New York), Castle D’Ursel, Wiener Saal, Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

Eleonora has attended several international summer festivals such as Mozarteum Summer Academy, Piano Summer at New Paltz, Kodaly Summer Festival and Seminar, Primavera Pianistica, Gijon Piano Festival and she has studied with distinguished artists such as, Robert McDonald, Jose Ramon Mendez, James Giles, Dominique Weber, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Alexander Korsantia, Alexander Melnikov, Vladimir Feltsman.

Currently she is pursuing her Bachelor Degree at the Purchase Conservatory of Music with Prof. Paul Ostrovsky. She is also holding a position of Math Tutoring Assistant.
