Dorisse started learning to play at the age of 6 with Mr. Henoch Morrobel. Few years later, a rigorous training began with Ms. Olga Dusheina-Dougherty who has helped to refine her talents to new achievements. Dorisse has performed in several ensembles including the Waldwick SDA School Orchestra, The New Jersey Conference of SDA orchestra, the Pierre Chamber Music Ensemble and The Rockland Youth Orchestra of New York State. Dorisse received high marks from the New York State School Music Association festival for the past consecutive three years and is currently at level V. She enjoys playing duets with her twin sister at the viola, performing in multiple settings for the enjoyment of parishioners and at social gatherings.
