Cameron Clements
Cameron Clements is a junior Music Education and Woodwind Performance double major studying under Dr. Griffin Campbell at Louisiana State University. At LSU Cameron performs or has performed in numerous top ensembles, including the LSU Wind Ensemble, the LSU Jazz Ensemble, and the LSU Graduate Saxophone Quartet. He also is involved in a undergraduate reed quintet and a chamber jazz group. Outside of ensembles, Cameron has played in masterclasses for the H2 Quartet, the United States Army Field Band Quartet, John Sampen, Jim Romain, and others. As a soloist, he has performed concertos with the LSU Symphony Orchestra and the LSU Wind Ensemble. Cameron will also attend the American Saxophone Academy hosted at the Eastman School this summer, where he will study closely with artists such as Tim McAllister, Chien-Kwan Lin, and Otis Murphy. Recently, he was awarded the first prize in the 2016 Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artists Competition in Monroe, Louisiana and will perform with the Monroe Symphony in their upcoming season.
