Vincent Lin is 17 years old attending Saint Ignatius High School, Cleveland, Ohio. He has been playing piano since he was five, and violin since eight.
He has earned multiple superiors and five gold cups from the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs. He was the winner of OFMC Outstanding Junior Award in 2017.
For the Global Great Composers Competitions, he won Third Prize of Best Chopin Performance in 2018. He won Third Prize of violin solo for the Artist of the Year Season 2016/17 Age Group IV. He won First prize of piano duet for the Art of Chamber Music Age Group I, Third prize of piano solo for the Music of 20th Century, Third prize of violin solo for the Music of 19th Century Age Group IV in 2016.
He won Third Place for violin solo of 2018 American Protege Music Talent Competition. He won Honorable Mention for piano solo and Third Place for violin solo (Junior Category) of the 2017 American Protege International String and Piano Competition. He also won Honorable Mention (Piano Duet/Four Hands of Junior Category) of American Protege International String and Piano Competition 2016. He performed at Carnegie Hall in New York for four times.
He won a Second Place of Piano Duet/Four Hands of OhioMTA Central East District/Graves Piano Competition in 2016.
For OhioMTA Buckeye audition, he won Honorable Mention in 2017 for violin.
