Cassidy McCleary is a 17-year-old senior at San Clemente High School. Cassidy loves to sing and has studied classical voice for the past three years with Megan Theodorou. She also loves to perform in musical theater. She is currently rehearsing the role of Mary Poppins in SCHS’s upcoming production of Disney’s Mary Poppins. Cassidy also enjoys participating in vocal competitions where she has won First place in the NATS musical theatre category(2015), First place in the San Clemente Rotary competition (2015, 2016), and won the prestigious Orange County competition - Stars of Tomorrow. Cassidy is in the Madrigals choir at SCHS, plays the piano, tap dances, sings in church, and loves to do theater whenever she gets a chance. She is studying classical voice this summer at a summer intensive and plans on attending college to further her studies in either classical voice or musical theatre.
