Vera Lim Xin Yun, 7, from Singapore, started piano in early 2015 under the tutelage of Christine Gan Siew Hui. A confident performer, her passion in music is evident at a young age. She has been awarded First Prize for the Great Composers Competition: The Music of Germany & Austria 2016, under the 5-7 age group category held on 22 March 2016. Her most recent achievement was been chosen as a FIRST PRIZE Winner and also BEST BEETHOVEN PERFORMANCE Special Prize at the International Music Competition 'Salzburg' Grand Prize Virtuoso 2016. For this, she has been selected to perform at the forthcoming Wiener Saal Mozarteum on July 14, 2016.
She has also performed at the Rising Star concert series held at Steinway Gallery Singapore, Recording Studio at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore and Bach's Festival at Subway 2016.
