Samuel Sun
Samuel Sun, 15, fell in love with music through the piano at the age of 6, and continued on his musical journey with the violin and guitar a few years later. He studies violin with Ms. Kwok Ping Koo and has been the concertmaster of the Homestead High Chamber and Symphony Orchestra since 2014. Some highlights of his musical career include winning the Concerto Competition in 2013 and 2015 and performing as a soloist with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra, winning the third place in the American Fine Arts Festival Romantic International Music competition in 2016, traveling to New York to play at Carnegie Hall with the Homestead High Symphony Orchestra and having the honor of playing in the 2016 California All State Symphony Orchestra. Most recently he passed the Certificate Of Merit violin panel test advanced level.
