Freya Pang, age 7 , is a 1st Grader at Concord Elementary School in Darien, Illinois. Freya started piano with Sueanne Metz at 4 years old and has won numerous competitions since. At age 4, Freya was the 3rd place winner of MFHC Piano Competition in Chicago, At age 5, she performed at Carnegie Hall as a 1st place winner of the AFAF Festival, she performed at Chicago Schubertiade as the youngest performer and was an Outstanding prize winner of Geneva Piano Competition. She was also 2nd place winner of Los Angeles Young Musician’s International Piano Competition and a gold medalist from the CAMTA Sonata festival.
In 2015 Freya is 1st place winner of Hawaii Aloha International Piano Competition, 1 st place winner of New Star International Piano Competition, 1st place winner of American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition and 1stplace winner of NWSMTA Piano Competition.
In 2016 Freya is 1st place winner of Hartford Chopin Internation Piano Competition, she also won honorable mention for Walgreen Concerto Competition and DePaul Concerto Festival. Freya loves playing piano and enjoys sharing her music at senior centers, churches and libraries.
